Born and raised in Ottawa, I’ve had the opportunity to live and experience various neighborhoods throughout this great City, from East to West, South and Central. As a long-time local and now licensed Real Estate Agent, I have my fingers on the pulse of this “little big city” (or is it “big little city”?) and possess a deep level of knowledge and insight into Ottawa’s various communities and outskirts.
Before my career in real estate, I had a goal of becoming a high school teacher. However, after completing a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and then graduating from Teacher’s College, I chose to accept a job offer with the federal government where I spent 8 years, first as a Training Coordinator and later as a Project Manager and Business Analyst. It wasn’t until 2015 that I decided to pursue a long-time dream and began a full-time career in real estate. Throughout my time in the teaching and public service fields, I acquired knowledge and skills as a communicator, negotiator, and strategist which serve my clients and me greatly to this day.
When it comes to my real estate practice, my philosophy has always been to simply seek to add as much value as possible to those around me and the pillars of my business are authenticity, integrity, professionalism, generosity, and expertise. I firmly believe that a sharp, singular focus on helping others achieve great results allows for new business opportunities, financial rewards, and job satisfaction to take care of themselves. Over the years I’ve consistently ranked among the top Real Estate Agents in Ottawa and Ontario, however, I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve done so almost entirely through word-of-mouth and an exceptionally high rate of repeat business and referrals from past clients. You’ll never see my face on the side of a bus, trash can, or bike rack, but I hope you’ll one day hear about a great experience that someone you know and trust had using my services.
Last but not least, outside of Real Estate I’m a die-hard Toronto Raptors fan who rarely misses a game (unless I’m working). I also love to play ultimate frisbee, attend live music, and try out new restaurants and coffee shops. Even if you’re not looking to buy or sell, I’m always happy to talk hoops, and music or to recommend a great place to enjoy food or drink.
